Cassis

This beautiful day started by a 20 minute journey by car from La Ciotat to Cassis. We were lucky to find the perfect free parking right next to the pay parking, and from there , we tried to find access to the “Parc nationale des Calanques .” It is actually not well marked so after taking the wrong path we finally found access to the first Callanque called the Port Miou .

From there we had a 30 minutes walk to the second calanque called Port Pin. It’s a pretty easy hike, but a good pair of shoes is still strongly recommeded ! We decided to spend the afternoon there to relax and enjoy the crystal clear water.

We ended the day with a walk in the village, it’s a very charming place, filled with lovely restaurants, bars and a small port.
